Couch Scout MOCKING
      Draft 2007
Pick
Team
TRADES and more Trades
Another Mocking Draft / as always/, the moral of this is that most people take this stuff really too  serious, / after all Pro Teams send millions to comply their data, I send some spare time.
WAY to many TRADES- hard to follow but kind of fun,

1
The Falcons go all Rickey Williams, No they aren't smoking loads of cannabis and touring the world,
their trading their whole 07 draft for hometown hero and world class wide Receiver
Calvin Johnson
WR
(Georgia Tech)

2

Trade up got great Arm, looking for the deep vertical passing game dream,  Dumped Culpepper, traded to the Raiders for draft picks, and taking over that contract, the Raiders, get Dante and Randy together again.  The regime give Vonnie Holiday (the Fins got a bunch of young DT to fill in )to the lion's and swap 1st's.
JaMarcus Russell
QB
(LSU)
3
So top 10 picks happen, about as often as Cardinal Super bowl wins, But the Cleveland trades down, and gets Dontarrous Thomas for their trouble, (Dontarrous, is round 3-4 peg, but in a 4-3 hole, Brady had Great Coaching, he is Much more Tom Brady then Rick Mirer, hand him the keys to the Viks offense, it's his unless, Bolinger, or the great talent Taveras Jackson overtakes him. and are you old enough to remember " Quinn the Eskimo" .
Brady Quinn
QB
(Notre Dame)

4
Spires, Rice and Kevin Carter are older, still players but older players,  might as well, keep the defensive pressure,  If a qb doesn't get sacked once, but is force to make just a little quicker decision, most QB will falter
Gaines Adams
DE
(Clemson)

5

Matt, last season, world class Wide outs, and now a Corner stone Tackle, the Cards for real ? Take about a feel good story.
Joe Thomas
OT
(Wisconsin)

6
The defense needs a road block,  a human detour, a man to keep blockers off Marshall in the middle.  Branch is the man, but Okoye is still just a kid, you got wonder how good can he be. In not old enough to drink in most states.  The Skins have drafted to potential in Mcintosh and Campbell, Okoye is still growing, have heard very few discouraging words
(the weight loss and gain deal )
Amobi Okoye
DT
(Louisville)
7
The Rams give up, Orlando Pace (Orlando gets to go home and their one to move up plus gets a serviceable Tackle in Kevin Shaffer ),  Stud prospect, numbers are right, and there is need,
If they can get the Winstrom effort out him, a steal
Little at one End,
Adam Carriker
DE
(Nebraska)
8
Your basic Art Shell Clone for a new century , Plus Atlanta's whole draft , Trades some  picks for Culpepper, Randy and Dante shows goes west.  Levi Brown
T
(Penn State)
9
Matt Millen gets the Falcon draft, +plus his and he gets his man, another stud RB from the State of Oklahoma (Barry and Steve Owens)
Dropped with the shoulder rumor
Adrian Peterson

10
Exit Al Wilson, enter Pat Willis, same player, just a few years younger

Jamaal Anderson

(Arkansas)
12
Bengal's trade up , get the offensive weapon that turns their offense Elite
Greg Olson
TE
(Miami,FL)
13
Cleveland gets a extra 3rd round pick, and Center Dan Connolly, a fine young center
jags need a health young, super stud safety, got the game savvy to be real deal, good hitter too, all the Jag safeties can hit big.
His value has rocket with work outs, so.
Darius and Landry together will be lethal,
and easy to yo-yo early.

Laron Landry

Darrelle Revis
CB

16
You can never have enough good Levi's , DB's  or Coor's lite, (I'm Dieting) but no Leon Hall,  Revis, Griffin, or - Gee whiz, so average, such a normal pick, Marshawn Lynch. Their is a need, a stud back
seems to be the kind of guy, who can get caught in the Lambo mystic.  Marshawn is even aware of it, but a guy, who coached him in High School, said this
is loyal true blue, Duane Wade type guy in Pads,.
Marshawn Lynch
RB
(Cal)
17
So the Brown's have Acquired by trading down
Dontarrous Thomas, and Orlando Pace to combine with STeinbach at Left Guard, Lewis to run the ball.
Draft picks, and Dan Connolly a terrific young Center

Gumby his body too make huge catches, Frye is good QB, Quinn has enough Mirer to scare, and Russell enough Rohan Davey to scare off. You know he may dance and not be modest but Jarrett has Marvin Harrison eyes, a focused and calm look. Largent had it.  Jerry Rice,. Went back watched some tape, if not here
the Colts will take Jarrett, does some things, site adjustments, reads, that are very special.  Can he get free of NFL Coverage,   he will be ok at 1st then he will excell.

David Harris
LB
(Michigan)

27
1st time I saw this Patrick Willis, the Saints were looking for Middle Backer, and I felt he was the perfect man for the Saints, but he falls to Niners,  These guys found Marguis Colston in the 7th round,  I'm not nearly clever enough to emulate the Saints.

The temptation of Ginn, sitting there was too much.  At worst case, he is the Devin Hester factor, he can make some big plays at wr, and can play DB, and sell tickets, like that's problem in. He makes 5 big plays next season, with the Ravens defense ,they could win 3 more games
