| THE COUCH SCOUT MOCKING DRAFT |
3rd Edition So what seemed good
before has been blown away by
free agent signings and trades
(Besides I need football, my god I'm watching a NFL QB on the bachelor,
I'm so ashamed) |
2004 Mocking Draft isn't as acid as the
normal Couch Scout Mocking Drafts.
1 .I'm in too good mood?
2. Usually the idea that me, who can't afford a Laptop, is suppose to
get inside the head of 32 NFL teams head and predict accurately. They spend
millions. I can't afford a Laptop.
3. Other so called experts , usually sets me off
4. Just get tired of looking at Mock Drafts
I'll have a bad day at work and see if I can be more sarcastic.
No even in the 2nd editions, things are going terrific

| 1 SAN DIEGO |
QB –Eli
MANNING |
Ryan Leaf
,why Ryan Leaf. Now a chance at another Manning, after watching the Colts go
to the playoffs, and the Chargers get lotto picks. Jealous yes, and regret,
and guilt. Manning fits there offense, Tomlinson to their James, Lee Evans
in the 2nd the new Marvin Harrison, The Bolts
are going to become the Colts West. |
| 2 OAKLAND |
OT –Robert
Gallery |
One of the
advantages of stinking is getting the Lotto pick. Gallery will be the
foundation of their O Line for the next 10 years. Art Shell of the century,
their QB’s are mobile, but they needed some protection and great health plan
in 2003. . The Raiders are always the most dangerous after a bad year.
Gallery would have the greatest instant impact. |

ARIZONA |
WR- Larry Fitzgerald |
Bolden and Fitz, a Tough duo, McCown can get by his Scott
Mitchell - like 4 good games and turn into a solid QB, the passing offense
is on that will but people in the stands. Like Tommy Harris here, but he
realty compares a bunch to Wendell Bryant- a tweener drafted last season |
| 4 NY GIants |
QB Ben Roethlisberger |
Character, mobile, and talented,
can he hold-up to the New York fan expectations, maybe, but he is a true
stud talent, and franchise QB, |
| 5 WASHINGTON
|
FS – Sean Taylor
|
Impact Safety, works here, amazing
players, |
| 6 DETRIOT |
WR –Roy Williams
|
Air
Harrrington gets another weapon. The polished, and magical , now will Joey
recover from his Sophomore Slump , or is it terminal. Rogers and
Williams , Street as 3rd or 2a receiver, |
| 7 CLEVELAND |
TE –Kellen Winslow
|
Davis knows his former Miami
Athletes, Athlete he can place outside or rip up the seam, makes the play
action draft real effective. |
| 8 ATLANTA |
WR Reggie Williams
|
Vicks arm,
Reggie’s ability to get deep, awesome. If they don’t complete a pass,
defense will have to adjust to such an extent, they the pick will work.
Pure dangerous |
| 9 JACKONVILLE |
DE - Kenechi Udeze |
Perfect pick, can get off the blockers, and rush or stuff. Smart, with an
attitude. Love this kid, Henderson, Stroud, Kenchi, and Hugh Douglas, if
they jell, good for 6 wins right there |
| 10 HOUSTON |
DT Tommy
Harris |
Brings some real fire to the
Defense, and enough depth to break him in slowly |
| 11 PITTSBURGH |
CB- DeAngelo Hall |
QB Rivers works
here, but Townsend is terrific 3rd CB, Scott has been slumping , Hall is
awesome athlete, who has worked a bunch in zone coverage and can cover ..
|
| 12 NEW YORK Jets |
DE –Will Smith |
The Jets
have been try to find an outside pass rush since Gastineau. |
| 13 Buffalo |
QB- Phillip Rivers |
My rather shaky records show,
Drew's contract up in 2004, So groom Phil one year, |
| 14 Chicago |
T- Shawn Andrews
|
The "Big Cat" Williams retires, the
offense goes in the dumper, Shawn works here, Tait moves to LT, Grossman
becomes the health new Star QB. Quan gets another year to develop, and add
depth inside. Aaron Gibson has played well in off drills, he is massive
WAS RB –Steve Jackson . (Thomas Jones
Signed) |
| 15 Tampa Bay |
CB –Dunta Robinson |
Fits the
classic Buc CB to a tee. Stocky athletic, and able to sit on patterns, and
make plays. Can help in the special teams, which turned aged Chucky 10 years |
| 16 San Francisco |
DT- Darnell Dockett
|
Adams showed real hope at the nose,
Bryant Young is a profile in courage, Darnell fits into the rotation real
well |
| 17 Denver |
DT Randy Starks |
I'm a big homer when comes to
Maryland athletes, and I not totally sold on Randy, but he fits the defense
so well ., beside the run on Dee Tackles has begun, |
| 18 New Orleans |
DT Vin Wilfolk |
Place Vin in
the middle, turn everybody else loose on the defense, The Saints areiin the
Super Bowl. Or |
| 19 Minnesota
|
DT-Igor Olansky |
Fits between Hovan and Willaims
perfectly. Good upside, and frees one of the those guys, outside. Downside ,
suspension, he did gain a bunch of weight got faster and stronger. But I
love this guy, where ever he ends up he will be loved. (Ok it probably
Randy Strarks here, but Igor just impress me) |
| 20 Miami |
LB- Karlos Dansby |
Bigger then their other LB’s a
year learning from Junior, a stud, Still fond of the Dolphins, have a jersey
from the No Name days. Actually real like D. Thoams his teammate bunch |
| 21 New England |
WR -Lee Evans
|
Fits the WR offense
so well, Another weapon for Bill, |
| 22 Dallas |
RB –Steve
Jackson |
Honest he could be the best
Jackson ever to play RB in Dallas, and that is saying a bunch. ( Or he could
be beaten to be the goat position if Bill's rebuild snags) Actually
Bill could be just the man to bring Steven to a high level rapidly.
He will pass block or elseWAS DT-DE Terry "Tank Johnson
Bill needs Tank, and Tank needs
Bill. A stud athlete, Bill can turn into a super star. Hell bill might turn
him into Linebacker.. Tank is later day Harry Carson. - Dallas should take
in the 2nd |
| 23 Seattle |
LB-John Vilma |
I would love to see Mike Jenkins
here, but local intel says John Vilma, it so often right |
| 24 Cincinnati
|
DT-
Issac
Sopoaga |
Awesome Strong, just learning too,
can solve, protect linebackers, or penetrate. Should be a help,
early a real force latter in the season. Has a motor too, can be mean.
Not going to be a great stat guy, will do the dirt work, that makes others a
star.
|
| 25 Green Bay |
QB =JP LOSMAN |
The delivery changes, the spirit
and leadership from the QB position remains the same. Another Southern QB,
with a GUN |
| 26 St Louis |
TE –Ben Watson |
A te faster
then many Wide Outs. Besides the Rams have spent a bunch of resources
looking for a TE. |
| 27 Tennessee |
C- Jake Grove |
Titans type of interior lineman- |
| 28 Philly |
0T- Vernon Carey |
Eagles type of
lineman, big old horse, but he can adapt, on broken play, terrific
talent, Gives the Eagles depth, a wild card, and lights a fire under the
line, that could care them over the top.
WAS WR Mark Clayton - Owens |
| 29 INDY |
LB- D. J Williams |
Probably very high on Dungy’s
board |
| 30 KC |
WR -Mark
Clayton–
|
A prime time WR , in the KC WR by
committee |
